Recitation policies

Absences

You are generally expected to attend recitation section. To this end, a 10 minute quiz will be given at the end of each recitation meeting (no quizzes will be given the first two weeks of class). However, given that there can be good reasons for absence, the lowest two quizzes will be dropped. If you wish for further accomodations, you must contact me in advance. Please notify me of any non-University holidays in the first two weeks of class.

Grading

Final grades in the course are assigned according to a procedure described here. Recitation grades come entirely from the quizzes in recitation, each of which is worth 10 points and as typically two questions. Quizzes are drawn from simplified core homework questions.

Academic dishonesty

Academic dishonesty is a serious offense. Read Penn's policies.
